St. Ann Carnival & Italian Festival Returns To Bristol

A local tradition returns to Bristol Borough this week when the popular St. Ann Carnival and Italian Festival opens Monday evening.

The six-day event will run through Saturday. It will be open daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. behind the St. Annโ€™s Catholic Worship Site at 357 Dorrance Street.

The St. Ann Carnival and Italian Festival draws large crowds as the summer season winds down.

The event featuring carnival rides, childrenโ€™s amusements, games, and homemade Italian dishes, including pizza fritta.

“It’s a great event for families,” Bristol Borough Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe said last week. “It supports the church and the kids at St. Mark’s School.”

DiGuiseppe said last week that the carnival offers plenty of fun for the community.

On Tuesday evening, the Bristol Borough Police Department hosts a “Night At The Carnival.” The event, which is funded through donations, is open to children whose parents picked up tickets in advance prior to the general public opening.
