Cornelius Bell, 29, Jalmed Marks, 28, and Aaron Gyampo, 27, all of Trenton, pleaded guilty to numerous drug-peddling offenses related to the sale of heroin and fentanyl last Wednesday beforeย President Judge Wallace Bateman at the Bucks County Justice Center in Doylestown Borough, according to court dockets.

The trio was arrested in 2018 after an investigation by the Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force, the Bristol Township Police Department, the Falls Township Police Department, and the Middletown Township Police Department. The Mercer County (New Jersey) Narcotics Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police and the Philadelphia Police Departmentโ€™s aviation unit assisted local cops in the investigation, authorities said.

Theย months-long investigation included police-monitored drug buys using informants throughout the Levittown area. The investigation collected more thanย 2,500 bags of heroin and involved search warrants executed in Mercer County, New Jersey.

“Investigators identified Bell as the most frequent seller, having made seven controlled purchases of heroin from him between March and November of 2018 and observed numerous others. The men said they used the proceeds of their sales to fund their rap music group,” a statement from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said.

Bell, according to authorities, was the leader of the group. He was sentenced toย nine and a half to 30 years in state prison.

Marks was sentenced to seven to 20 years in state prison.

Gyampoย received a sentence of two to six years behind bars.

โ€œBut for the hard and collaborative work of these police agencies, these defendants might still be flooding our streets with poison. Our communities are made safer every day by the extraordinary work of these outstanding police agencies,โ€ said Deputy District Attorney Thomas Gannon. โ€œIt is my hope these sentences will serve as a warning to the would-be dealers who dare to take the place of these defendants.โ€
