Bristol Township’s latest Wawa opened earlier this week.
The location at the corner of State Road and Veterans Highway (Route 413) in the Croydon section opened with free coffee and a ribbon cutting on Thursday morning.

The convenience store with gas pumps has been under the construction for the past year and followed a remediation of the roughly two-acre site.
Before the Wawa was approved, residents raised concerns about traffic in the already congested area. There were also concerns raised about the impact the Wawa could have on local businesses.
Wawa is currently proposing building additional locations on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section and along Levittown Parkway in Tullytown.
