Wawa will be building one of its popular convenience store and gas stations along Levittown Parkway.

The company received preliminary and final approval from Tullytown Council Tuesday evening to construct a 4,700-square-foot Wawa with six gas pumps and 12 fueling positions at the corner of the Levittown Town Center access road that links to Kenwood Drive and Levittown Parkway.

Wawa received several land development waivers for the 1.4 acre site that is currently occupied by Hesski Service Center and McGinty’s Ice Cream Creations.

The property at 225 Levittown Parkway was purchased last week by developer Provco Group, said Michael Cooley, the vice president of development.

County records were not updated as of Tuesday evening to list the sale price of the property.

Cooley said construction on the new Wawa will begin within the next year.
