According to court papers, officers were called to the Walmart just after 9 p.m. Friday evening for a report of harassment. The incident stemmed from a Walmart wire transfer with a customer who came into the store was not aware of the correct name of the sender of funds and could not receive the money.

Pratt, who sent the money from a store in Montgomery County, ended up calling the Walmart in Tullytown and making threats and a racist statement, police said.

“I’m going to kill you all if I have to ride up there,” he allegedly said to the store staff.

Police said they got in contact with Pratt early Saturday morning via phone and he admitted to making calls to Walmart staff but denied making any threats.

Pratt reportedly said that he was sending the money to the Tullytown store to try to pay an employee.
