
Police have released the names of the two men killed in a violent multi-vehicle crash along Route 13 in Tullytown Borough.
Anthony Ortiz, 20, a resident of Bristol Township’s Croydon section, was behind the wheel of the Honda that slammed into the back of vehicles stopped at the red light at Route 13 and Fallsington Avenue late last Thursday afternoon. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Jermine Jenkins, 44, a resident of Tullytown, was sitting in his vehicle at the light when the Honda plowed into the back, killing him, police said.

Three other vehicles were involved and those drivers survived.
Tullytown police Chief Daniel Doyle said Ortiz was to blame for the fatal crash. Witnesses and a crash investigation found he had been speeding on Route 13 as he approached the traffic signal that sits right after a slight bend in the roadway.

The crash was so severe that firefighters had to cut out the remains of the two men.
The southbound lanes of Route 13 were closed for hours to clean up and the investigation.
