The incident happened on Monday, June 22, just before 8 p.m. at the park.

Police said they were dispatched to the scene because of a reported fight in progress.

Once officers arrived, a man was found with multiple scrapes and cuts to his body.

The man stated that he had a verbal dispute with a woman before she called another man to the area, police said.

A man, who was identified as Elijah Webber, 22, of Morrisville, arrived at the park with a “large kitchen knife” that he used to puncture two tires on a vehicle, police said.

“You’re not going anywhere,” Webber reportedly said.

After damaging the tires, Webber, who was wielding the knife, chased the man around the car while threatening him, police said.

After Webber’s family members arrived, they disarmed him and Webber and the other man got into a physical fight, police said.

The two men were separated and Webber left the scene, police said.

After Webber left and police arrived, the injured man was taken to Jefferson Bucks Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Webber was arrested two days after the incident and charged. He was preliminarily arraigned before District Judge John Galloway and held on 10 percent of $250,000.

Webber had his preliminary hearing in the case last week and had charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, criminal mischief, and harassment held for trial. A charge of aggravated assault was dropped.
