

A popular social media influencer and her front-seat passenger were killed Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash on a New Jersey highway.

New Jersey State Police troopers responded at 10:55 p.m. to the crash on Route 55 south near milepost 57.1 in Deptford Township in Gloucester County.
A preliminary investigation showed that 22-year-old Ayzia J. Toledo, of Bristol Borough, was driving a BMW when she lost control of the vehicle, according to a state police press release.
The car ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree, state police said.

Toledo and her front-seat passenger, Henrietta F. Carter, 22, of Darby Borough in Delaware County, both sustained fatal injuries.
A rear-seat passenger suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, state police said.

Troopers said the crash remains under investigation, and no further details were available.
Toledo, who is known online as “Ayzia J,” was a rising digital creator with nearly 80,000 followers on Instagram and more than 250,000 followers on TikTok, where her bio described her as a TV personality, content creator, and model. People Magazine identified Ayzia J as Toledo.

The young woman’s recent social media posts included a brand partnership with the fashion retailer Shein and pictures and videos documenting her travels to Texas, New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.

Less than two hours before the fatal crash, Toledo had posted stories to her Instagram account showing her dancing, singing karaoke, and enjoying a hookah with friends.
A GoFundMe from her family raised close to $8,000 as of Tuesday morning.

“She had a beautiful spirit, a vibrant personality, and a way of making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved,” the GoFundMe page stated. “Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Ayzia knew how special she truly was. She was building an incredible future for herself, making a meaningful impact and creating a growing presence across social media platforms.”
