Paper Shredding & Donation Drive At High School Campus This Saturday

A free-the-public Paper Shredding and Donation Drive will be held at Pennsbury High School this Saturday.

The event, which is hosted by State Sen. Steve Santarsiero, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pennsbury High School West on South Olds Boulevard in Falls Township.

Those who go to the event are limited to three file boxes of paper for shredding and must be in line by 12:30 p.m. to have their documents shredded. The Bucks County Opportunity Council and Habitat for Humanity ReStore will also be collecting furniture, small appliances, and non-perishable food as donations.

Examples of items to bring for shredding:

  • Bank and credit card statements
  • Tax documents
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Anything that lists a Social Security Number

Individuals are encouraged to bring the following non-paper items for proper disposal or reuse:

  • Furniture
  • Clothing
  • Cellphones
  • Chargers
  • Small appliances
  • Small household items
