A small office building with two apartments will be constructed along West Lincoln Highway.
The Middletown Board of Supervisors voted last week to approve Rich Beaumont of Equity Building Group’s plan to construct a first-floor office and two apartments above it at 1222 West Lincoln Highway in Middletown. The building and small parking area would be constructed on the .3 acre lot.

Frank Dillon, the attorney representing Beaumont, said some improvements have already been made on the lot, including for stormwater management.
Waivers for curbs and sidewalks for the property along West Lincoln Highway were granted.
In another motion, the Supervisors agreed to put the township’s handicap ramp construction project out to bid.

Middletown is seeking to improve pedestrian access this year at 10 intersections along Hollow Road in the Highland Park neighborhood in Levittown.
There have been previous pedestrian improvements in the neighborhood and the new work would be part of a larger plan.

The township has about $200,000 to spend on the upgrades.
Supervisors also approved an agreement for a local consortium to purchase fuel. Papco Inc of Aston in Delaware County will provide gasoline, Mansfield Oil Company of Gainesville, Georgia will provide heating fuel, and East River Energy Inc. of Guilford, Connecticut will supply low-sulfur diesel.
