A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman and causing a chaotic situation in Bristol Township’s Venice Ashby section early Saturday morning.
Officers detailed in court papers that they were first dispatched to the neighborhood around 1 a.m. Saturday for a nude man who had approached a woman on Lloyd Street. As police were responding, a second caller reported that a nude man had broken into a home on nearby Venice Avenue.

The nude man was not found at the time, and a detective headed to Lower Bucks Hospital to interview a woman who received a facial injury during the break-in, police said.
The detective wrote in court papers that the sleeping woman was awoken in her bedroom to find a man sexually assaulting her. She started screaming and fought with the man, causing him to punch her in the mouth. Others in the home rushed to her aid and chased the naked man out of the home.
Police said the man was not known to anyone in the house, and appeared to have entered through a first-floor window.

An officer spoke with a man on Lloyd Street who said a naked man approached his wife and called her “mommy.” The woman poked him with an umbrella and he fled.
Around 5:55 a.m., a call came in for a man only wearing a towel on Foster Avenue Circle, and responding officers placed Anthony Thomas Clayborn, 29, of Bensalem, into custody.

Clayborn, as noted in court papers, matched the description given to investigators early Saturday morning.
A detective spoke with Clayborn at the police station. The 29 year old admitted to taking crystal meth for the past five days, adding he approached a woman on a porch and was struck by an umbrella. In addition, he admitted to breaking into a home on Venice Avenue and striking a woman, police said.
Clayborn, according to police, denied sexually assaulting a woman.
