Police Work To ID Body Of Man Found In River

Authorities were working Wednesday to identify the body of a man found deceased in the Delaware River.

The body of the middle-aged man underwent an autopsy by a coroner as investigators worked to determined the cause of death, a spokesperson for the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said, adding there were no signs no obvious trauma.

Police were checking area missing persons reports as they sought a lead to a crack in the case.

The man’s body was pulled from the river by firefighters off the shore in the Edgely section of Bristol Township around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
