The circumstances surrounding a body that was found floating in the Delaware River in Bristol Township was under investigation as of Tuesday evening.
Police Lt. Terry Hughes confirmed a body was pulled from the river off the shore in the Edgely section of the township. He said he had no further information available at the time.

Crews from the Edgely Fire Company responded and boats from the Croydon and Tullytown fire companies were placed in the water to recover the body around 5 p.m. Bristol Township police and the New Jersey State Police also responded.
