โ€œIt is an honor to be named as St. Maryโ€™s next President,โ€ Brilliant said in a statement. โ€œThis organization is all about compassion for our patients, quality healthcare and ensuring that all are treated fairly and with respect. I look forward to upholding those traditions and leading my colleagues on a journey of growth and continued success.โ€

Before joining St. Mary Medical Center, Brilliant held management roles at Doylestown Hospital and he is a certified physician executive from the Certifying Commission in Medical Management. He attended State University of New York at Stony Brook Medical School and completed his residency in emergency medicine at the Medical Center of Delaware.

โ€œIt has been a genuine pleasure to work alongside Dr. Brilliant, he embodies the true spirit of this hospital โ€“ with a focus giving the people of Bucks County the care they need with the simple human kindness they have come to expect from St. Mary,โ€ said Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic President and CEO James Woodward, who was the former St. Mary Medical Center President and CEO. โ€œHe has already proven to be a great leader in this organization, and I know our colleagues and patients are in good hands.โ€
