A number of new businesses are coming to the Lincoln Plaza shopping center and the Oxford Valley Mall.
On Wednesday, it was announced that three new dining options will be constructed at the former pad sites of the Wells Fargo Bank and a big-and-tall store along East Lincoln Highway in Middletown. The dining options are the sandwich joint Melt Shop, southern-themed Metro Diner, and fast-casual Mediterranean eatery Zoës Kitchen.

“We realize the importance of providing a range of compelling dining options to the overall customer experience, so we’re incredibly excited to welcome these eateries to our property,” said Stephanie Weaver, area director of marketing for the Oxford Valley Mall. “Since these are the first area locations for all three of these brands, we’re looking forward to offering something special to our customers.”
The eateries are set to open in spring 2019.

Also in Lincoln Plaza, Homesense is planning to fill the old HHGregg store. Work is underway to renovate the store that is part of the TJX Companies family. An opening is expected in October 2018.

Canadian-based Homesense, according to the mall, offers furniture, rugs, lighting, and a “general store” that includes everything from hardware to storage items.

Inside the Oxford Valley Mall, three new retailers are planning to open stores in the fall. Clothing store Mandee, wireless provider MetroPCs, and LEGO-themed Andy’s Brick Shop will be setting up shop.

The former big-and-tall store where one of the eateries will be built was at one time the planned home for Chipotle Mexican Grill, which backed out of the site. Last year, Chipotle announced they would open along with MOD Pizza in a soon-to-be-constructed building in the nearby Target shopping center.
