The new specially-equipped bicycle was donated Wednesday evening at the business association’s Summer Concert Series.

Langhorne Borough Chief of Police John Godzieba said the new bicycle will help officers make closer connections in the .5-square-mile.

“We’ll get to take it with the kids, too, and talk bike safety,” he said.

The $1,500 bicycle was purchased with support from the entire Langhorne business community, said Joe Cimino, president of the Langhorne Borough Business Association.
