
The investigation into a crash that happened Saturday night was continuing as of Tuesday , according to Falls Township police.
Michael Carlino, 65, of Bensalem, died at the hospital following that head-on collision that occurred on Lincoln Highway near 84 Lumber around 8:10 p.m.

Carlino’s Mercury Mariner, which was moving northbound, was struck head-on by a Ford Escape that was traveling southbound before it veered into the path of the 65 year old’s vehicle. A third vehicle, a Chrysler 300, struck Carlino’s vehicle after the head-on collision, police said.
A 24-year-old Yardley man was behind the wheel of the Ford that struck Carlino’s vehicle head-on and a 41-year-old Morrisville man was operating the Chrysler, police said.
Aside from Carlino, four other people were injured and suffered non-life-threatening wounds. Aside from the drivers, the Ford and Chrysler both had one passenger each, police said.

Investigators are looking at alcohol, speed, and other factors that may have led the crash, but the investigation was continuing, they said.
Falls Township police and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office crash team are both involved in the probe of the wreck.
