Several local fire companies are hosting fire prevention events this October.
On Thursday, October 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., America Hose Hook and Ladder Company will host their open house that includes, demos, raffles, fire trucks on display, face painting and music at the parking lot along the river at 1414 Radcliffe Street.

The William Penn Fire Company will be hosting a fire prevention event on Sunday, October 8 from noon until 4 p.m. at their station at 123 Main Street in Hulmeville. The family-friendly event will feature smoke trailer, fire equipment and a smoke trailer.
The Tullytown Fire Company will be hosting their annual fire prevention event in the parking lot of the Levittown Town Center on Saturday, October 7. There will be demonstrations, food and emergency vehicles. The annual event runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Third District Volunteer Fire Company in Bristol Township will be hosting a fire prevention expo at their station at 1141 Harrison Street Sunday, October 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature live fire demonstrations, vendors family fun and fire trucks.

A fire company open house will be held in Penndel on Tuesday, October 10 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Fire trucks will be on display, there will be demonstrations, a smokehouse, the Red Paw Emergency Relief Team and the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The fire house is located on Centre Street.
Falls Township’s Fairless Hills Fire Company will be hosting their annual open house from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 12 at their station on Hood Boulevard. The open house will have tours, equipment and gear on display and live demonstrations.

Bristol Township’s Edgely Fire Company will host a large fire prevention expo Friday, October 13 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with demonstrations, firefighters competitions, live music, vendors, police cars and the debut of their new fire engine. The fire company’s annual wing eating contest will kick off the event at 6 p.m. The fire house is located at 1200 Edgely Avenue.
The Falls Township Fire Company in Fallsington will host their fire prevention event Saturday, October 14 starting at 10 a.m. and running until 2 p.m.
Levittown Fire Company No. 2 will be hosting their fire prevention festivities Saturday, October 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the station on County Way in Bristol Township. The event will feature events, the chance to try on gear and demonstrations.

Levittown Fire Company No. 1 will host their open house on Sunday, October 15 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Levittown Fire Company No. 1 will be hosting their event at Falls Township Community Park. The event will feature fire trucks, fire displays, refreshments, moon bounces, DJ, demonstrations and a helicopter landing.
The Newportville Fire Company will be hosting their fire prevention event from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 22 at their station on New Falls Road in Bristol Township. The afternoon event will feature food, ice cream, a rescue competition, fire truck rides, equipment on display, a smokehouse, the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office, raffles, vendors and a Kool Aid for Kenny fundraiser.
