A Bristol man was arrested last week after community members noticed him prowling and reported him to police.
Edward Robert Martin, 21, was arrested Sunday after community members called the police when they saw someone trying to break into their car on the 400 block of West Circle, according to court papers.

The homeowner supplied officers with a photo of the suspect. According to the probable cause affidavit, officers located Martin at 1600 Farragut Avenue. When they located him, he reportedly had two pill bottles that did not belong to him.
Martin was charged with misdemeanors including loitering and prowling at night, theft and receiving stolen property. He was remanded to county jail unable to post bail and it was later reduced to non-monetary bail.
