They started lining up early Saturday morning – parents, friends, classmates, alumni – all to see what is often called “The Best Prom in America.”

Prom an all day affair for Pennsbury. After months of preparation by parents and students, the community came together for a Saturday afternoon walk-through of the decorations through the school, from the hallways and cafeteria to the gymnasium.

This year, the transformation is all about Philadelphia – the theme is “Yo, Philly!” and the entire city is represented on the walls and halls. The school was open for about three hours, and prom coordinators expected over 3,000 people to admire the hard work.
