The access road that served as the 2017 Pennsbury Prom parade route was packed Saturday evening.
The parade of floats drove through toward the school as parents and community members cheered on the kids. Students decorated trailers and flatbed trucks with odes to the City of Brotherly Love, which matches the prom’s “Yo Philly!” theme. As the floats finished up in the school parking lot, students entered their prom wonderland to enjoy food prepared by local catering services and served by parents and volunteers. Finally, the A-list entertainment will served up music for the kids to dance the night away.

For Dawn Lucisano, the parade was worth attending to see her daughters Skye and Samantha as they headed to the famous prom.
“I love it and I think it is a great thing that they do for the kids,” Dawn Lucisano, a Pennsbury graduate herself, said.
