Bristol Township police confirmed Friday that they are investigating an attempted child luring that happened Wednesday night.
According to police, a father was with walking with his two young sons around 8:20 p.m. when he saw the same older-model pickup truck pass several times. In the area of Gatewood Drive near Edgely Road in Levittown, the pickup truck pulled up to the man’s 4-year-old son and said something. The father moved toward his young son who was only a few feet away and the truck sped off before turning south of Edgely Road.

The father of the boys spoke with CBS 3 and said the man yelled something about puppies to the boy.
The same older-model pickup truck was spotted by the father earlier in the evening on Gentle Road, but he thought nothing of it at the time.
The father described the pickup truck as an older-model Ford with a faded white line high above the door handle. The driver was said to be a white male with dark hair and stubble on his face, police said.
