Traffic in the area of the Bensalem Turnpike interchange was jammed Friday afternoon due to an overturned tractor-trailer.
The tractor-trailer overturned on the westbound lanes of the Turnpike in Bensalem, according to an official at the scene.

Traffic on Route 1, Street Road and the westbound lanes on the Turnpike was backed up while emergency officials dealt with the crash. Southbound Route 1 traffic was backed up to the Neshaminy Creek in Middletown as of 2:50 p.m.
The crash happened around 2 p.m.
