PECO presented a $10,000 grant to Tullytown officials last week.
The grant from the utility companyโs municipal open space and environmental program, which is called Green Region, will help Tullytown study the Delaware Canal trail.

Ted Duran of PECO presented the check to the council and announced the money would be used study the problems with various local disconnections in the walking trail that stretched from Bristol to Easton, Northampton County.
Tullytown has also reviewed other grants to attempt to make the trail more walkable through the borough. The Pennsylvania Environmental Council is seeking grant money to improve the Delaware Canal walking trail.
At the council meeting, the sale of a police car via an online auction site was approved. The mayor also thanked residents who attended the September 11 ceremony.
