According to Tullytown police, a 36-year-old Levittown woman is accusing of fighting with police over a $14.73 retail theft.
Bridgette McCall was escorted back into the Tullytown Walmart last Tuesday around 1:25 p.m. after she allegedly stole makeup, cotton swabs, shampoo and conditioner.

The officer took McCall back into the store’s lost prevention office to investigate further. Once inside the room, McCall told an officer he could not see her purse. She then lunged at the officer and caused him to fall into a table, police said.
The officer and the woman tussled on the floor and he lost radio contact with county distpachers, police said.
At one point during the altercation, the officer hit the assist button, which summoned officers from several departments to the store, police said.

Law enforcement from several towns were used to bring McCall into custody, according to police.
There was no word in court documents on whether McCall or the officer suffered any injuries.

McCall, who reportedly has a previous retail theft conviction, was jailed on 10 percent on $200,000 bail. She was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment.
She is set to have a preliminary hearing on September 15.
