According to an affidavit of probable cause filed Monday, Pucher testified in the preliminary hearing for 34-year-old Omarsharif Neill of Bristol Township, who was charged with DUI, accident involving unattended vehicles and related offenses. Neill recently was scheduled to come before a county judge in relation to the 2014 incident, but online court records were not yet updated to show the outcome.

Authorities allege Pucher testified he was the driver of a vehicle that crashed along Homestead Road in Levittown in May 2014. He stated he was in a one-vehicle crash and even drew a map that showed where he claimed the crash happened, according to court papers.

In court documents, police claim Pucher was not in the vehicle at the time of the crash and that his testimony does not match up with what their investigation revealed.

Police said the crash was really a three-vehicle crash that happened about eight houses away from where Pucher said it did. They also said two airbags in the vehicle were deploys, where as Pucher allegedly said none were deployed.

A witness, according to police, saw a man matching Neill’s description climb from the driver’s seat, exit out the passenger’s side of the vehicle and run.

Pucher was not spotted at the scene or by police, court papers say.

Following the hearing, Neill’s case was forwarded to Doylestown for trial.

Pucher was charged via summons and is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on May 14.
