The second suspect was taken into custody by SWAT officers around 10 a.m., police told LevittownNow.com.

SWAT officers quickly cleared the scene and investigators secured the gun shop and surrounding businesses.

Tullytown Chief Daniel Doyle said officers will be on the scene throughout the day.

St. Michael the Archangel School was closed due to the police activity.

All roads in closed by the standoff reopened by 10:30 a.m.

One suspect was taken into custody around 8 a.m. and a second suspect remained in the ventilation system connected to Mike’s Gun Shop in Tullytown as of 8:15 a.m.

Police Chief Daniel Doyle said SWAT operators were working to bring down part of the ceiling to take the second suspect into custody.

While the first suspect was not armed, police said they were not sure if the second suspect had a weapon.

A Philadelphia police SWAT truck was used to get officers onto the roof of the gun shop around 7:10 a.m.

Doyle said the suspects are believed to have entered the building through the roof. A police source said officers discovered several items including a flashlight on the roof of the gun shop.

Police responded the burglary early Monday morning and saw one of the suspects on the roof.

Police were in a standoff with a person at a Levittown gun shop as of 5:30 a.m. Monday.

The standoff reportedly started earlier in the morning when Tullytown police responded to Mike’s Gun Shop in the 200 block of Levittown Parkway. Sources told LevittownNow.com the incident may have started when police discovered a burglary at the store.

Tullytown officials said the suspect was last seen on he roof and he might  be armed.

Due to the standoff, the Pennsbury School District delayed the start of classes by two hours. Nearby, St. Michael the Archangel School was also delayed two hours.

Tullytown residents said they received a shelter in place call around 3 a.m.

Levittown Parkway was closed in the area of the standoff.

Police from across Lower Bucks County responded to the scene along with medics that were put on standby.
