The Pennsbury School Board member who stepped down after a Bucks County District Attorney’s investigation found she lived in South Carolina has resigned from her position on the Township of Falls Authority.
Debbie DeBlasio submitted her letter of resignation to the e Township of Falls Authority board last week. The resignation became official on Saturday.

DeBlasio was in the last year of her second term and served as the chair of the board, attending many recent meetings via electronic means.
The Township of Falls Authority is the water and sewer authority for much of Falls Township as well as some areas of neighboring municipalities, Harvie explained. The board handles labor agreements, maintenance, expansions, and improvements to the system, the establishment of rates, and meeting all state safety and health guidelines.
DeBlasio was one of the founding members of the authoirty board when it was formed in 2005. Harvie said DeBlasio ” has been instrumental in the successful operations of TOFA.”

The Democratic school director was found last month to consider her recently-built home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as her primary residence. DeBlasio has previously denied the claims and findings of an investigation by Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler’s office.
DeBlasio, a realtor, has told LevittownNow.com she has been “test driving” a post-retirement full-time move to Myrtle Beach.

DeBlasio resigned from the school board last month “to end this distraction.” The board will move to replace her this month.
