Schramm became a suspect in the case after a quick-thinking officer realized a witness description of the thief’s car matched the description of the 44 year old’s, who is known to police. The officer arrived at Schramm’s Kenwood Drive home and found stolen decorations set up out front, Lt. Hank Ward said.

Here’s a list of items Schramm allegedly stole:

  • 25 candycane lights
  • 1 North Pole sign
  • 2 directional signs
  • 1 “Santa, stop here” sign
  • 2 solar snowflake lights
  • 3 strings of red and green lights
  • 1 large, lighted snowman
  • 4 lighted Christmas trees

Schramm was arraigned last week on multiple counts of theft, receiving stolen property and loitering or prowling at night.
