Donte Horton, 20, of Bristol, turned himself in Wednesday afternoon on charges of witness intimidation and terroristic threats. He was arraigned by District Judge Frank W. Peranteau Sr. and sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $50,000 bail.

Police said suspect Tayron Mercer, 24, of Bristol, remained on the loose as of Wednesday afternoon and is considered armed and dangerous.

Bristol Borough police arrested four people and were searching for one more in connection with a home invasion-style robbery.

Officers were called to the 700 block of Pine Street for a reported home invasion and robbery around 9 p.m. Monday night.
Four people were inside the residence playing video games as a snow storm raged outside. Then, a knock on the door and three people burst in and began “brutally beating” the homeowner, police said.

The three home invaders took video game systems, video games, condoms and food from the kitchen. Several drawers were tossed and the home was in disarray after the three suspects left, police said.
The three suspects did not leave until they allegedly threatened to kill the victims if they called police.
Investigators said several of the victims recognized the suspects and were able to identify the three – two are teenagers under the age of 18 and the other is Tayron Mercer, 24, of Bristol.

One of the suspects was spotted with a handgun in their waistband during the home invasion robbery, police said.
Within an hour of the alleged crime, one of the juveniles was captured by officers.

The case took a twist Tuesday when 20-year-old Donte Horton, the brother of one of the juvenile suspects, and another juvenile allegedly showed up at the victim’s home and threatened to kill him, Sgt. Joe Moors said.
“I’m going to put a warm one in you,” one of the intimation suspects said while cocking his fingers like a gun, police reported.

“The best we know [the suspects] wanted video game systems and games,” Moors said.
Several of the suspects were taken in by police Tuesday evening and a home in the borough was also searched for Horton, police said.

Mercer and the two juveniles were charged with robbery, burglary, theft, simple assault, receiving stolen prop, disorderly conduct and harassment. Mercer remained on the loose Tuesday night and the two teens were transported to the Bucks County Youth Detention Center in Doylestown.
Horton and a juvenile were charged with witness intimidation and terroristic threats. Horton remains on the on the run and was being actively sought by Bristol police late Tuesday night.
