A 23-year-old man accused of having sex with a underage teen in Bristol Township waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Anthony Tarpeh, who formerly lived in Bristol Township, waived charges of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with minors and corruption of minors onto Doylestown Tuesday before District Judge Joanne Kline.

Authorities alleged Tarpeh and the 15-year-old girl began to hang out in both her apartment and his in November 2013. The two would have sex and smoke marijuana, which was supplied by Tarpeh, court papers say.

While the teen told Tarpeh her age, police allege Tarpeh told her he was 18. After some time, Tarpeh admitted his true age to the teen, police said.

The teen, who is now 16, first came forward to investigators in July. She said she had sex with Tarpeh five times between November 2013 and April, according to police.

Bristol Township police Detective Alexander Asmann noted in court papers that Tarpeh was evicted from his apartment. Recent court papers do not list an address for Tarpeh.

Tarpeh remains in Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $75,000.
