“Budget approval for advertisement was on Monday’s agenda but we had to table the motion as a few council members had concerns,” council member Kali Sodano said.
The largest chuck of Penndel’s budget, like in most municipalities, goes toward public safety. The borough provides full-time police coverage. Nearby towns like Hulmeville, Langhorne and Langhorne Manor only provide part-time police services. The off hours are covered by state police out of Trevose.
Penndel’s borough council will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall on Bellevue Avenue.

The final 2015 budget is expected to be voted on at the council’s December 15 meeting.
