A candlelight vigil was held Tuesday evening for the young men involved in Sunday’s tragic and fatal accident.
Dozens of friends gathered along the entrance to Quincy Hollow in Levittown off of New Falls Road to remember Josh ‘Beans’ Doran, 20, who passed away Monday evening, and keep Tyler Pitts, 23, in their thoughts, who remains in intensive care at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Both Doran and Pitts were ejected from a vehicle Sunday afternoon after it left New Falls Road, flipped and traveled about 70 feet before hitting a tree on Quincy Drive, according to police. Both men were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Loved ones shared humorous stories of the two men during the vigil, while some used the time to light candles and grieve silently.
“It shows a lot of support and a lot of friendship that you all are here,” one man said to the crowd after leading them in prayer. “It shows you guys are all a unit.”

Another man in the crowd used the time to warn others of dangerous driving and the true consequences it can have. “Take this as a wakeup call,” he said to the nodding crowd. “Don’t make Josh die for nothing.”
Part of New Falls Road was monitored by police officers Tuesday evening to ensure that all of those who attended the vigil were safe from oncoming traffic.
