UPDATE: Police Chief: Murder Happened After Night of Drinking
It was a matter of just a few feet.

Police said on Monday that Sunday morning’s fatal assault on a yet to be identified Hispanic man believed to be in his 30’s happened in Falls Township, not Morrisville Borough. The crime happened just a few feet away from the border of Morrisville, according to authorities.

Morrisville Chief of Police George McClay said the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office would be handling the case with his agency offering assistance. Morrisville police responded to the call along with Falls and Lower Makefield officers around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, and the initial investigation showed the crime happened in the borough.
The two male suspects- one a Trenton resident and the other a Maryland resident – were detained early Monday morning by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on detainers after being in Bucks County custody. McClay said the two men had immigration issues.
The search for a possible third man involved in homicide continued Monday. McClay said the man, who has not been identified, is believed to have fled the area Sunday and could be in Trenton.

The victim, who suffered head trauma and several stab wounds, was pronounced dead after medics rushed him to St. Mary Medical Center. Police said a Morrisville resident on their porch saw part of the assault and alerted 9-1-1. Officers arriving were able to capture the two suspects near the scene.
Investigators collected surveillance video from the church nearby the crime scene. A church official told LevittownNow.com the building has 16 cameras and all video was turned over to investigators.

All four men are believed to have been traveling in a white van with Maryland plates. McClay said a search warrant was executed on the van Monday morning and fingerprints were collected.
Authorities said Spanish-speaking officers were used to interrogate the suspects.
Police said they planned to return to the crime scene on Monday afternoon.
