A statue for slain musician and Levittown-native Danny DeGennaro was unveiled in New Hope over the weekend.
NBC 10 reports the event on Saturday featured musicians who played with DeGennaro over the course of his career.

The musician was killed in 2011 inside his Bristol Township home duringย a robbery gone wrong.

DeGennaro was well known throughout the area music scene. During his career, he was a member of The Danny DeGennaro Band and Kingfish, a rock group that was compared to The Grateful Dead.
