A Dunkin Donuts planned for Bristol Township took its next step toward becoming a reality last month.
The township Planning Commission approved conditional use for a Delran-based franchisee who is hoping to construct a Dunkin Donuts with a drive-thru at 1159 Veterans Highway.

The proposed 2,027-square-foot building would still have to come before the Bristol Township Council for final approval.
An attorney representing the project came before the commission and asked for 13 waivers, including ones on open space, parking spaces and waiver of trees. Some of the waivers were granted and the a fee in lieu of was agreed upon for other issues.
The plan for the site includes demolishing an existing 1,100-square-foot former insurance agency, an representative for the project said.
