Police noted in the affidavit of probable cause that even after putting on their overhead lights, the driver of the vehicle – later identified as 22-year-oldย Syeed Scott – continued to drive for a half mile before pulling into the Lucky 7 Deli parking lot at the corner of New Falls and Durham roads.

It was then that police approached both the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle. The woman, who was sitting behind Scott in the vehicle, was allowed out of the vehicle to speak with police about the fight, police said. According to court documents, it was then that Scott attempted to handย a back seat femaleย passengerย a Newport cigarette box, which police intercepted and discovered a,ย “clump of vegetable matter and a partially smoked cigarette of suspected Marijuana,” inside.

Through the side windows, police observed both the front passenger – identified as 26-year-old Susquehanna Law – and Scott “hunched over and moving quickly with their hands out of sight,” according toย courtย documents. Police then reportedly observed that Law was sitting on a prescription pill bottle, when asked to move her leg, police noticed a clear baggie with suspected marijuana inside.

Next to it, a small, black, zippered bag contained 98 blue glassine envelopes containing white powder, eight orange zip lock baggies containing a white rock substance, one small clear zip lock baggie containing a white rock substance, three suboxone films and 105 clear empty zip lock baggies.

Scott and Law was taken into custody and charged with two felonies including conspiracy and manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, as well as drug related misdemeanors. Both were arraigned by Judge Frank Peranteau Sr. and sent to Bucks County Prison on 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
