Hundreds of local residents agreed that Saturday was the perfect day for outside games, socializing, and beer when they all arrived at the newest brewery in town’s grand opening. Parking filled the Keystone Industrial Park and the street along Grundys Lane in Bristol Twp. to celebrate the official grand opening of Broken Goblet Brewing.
Mike LaCouture, one of the four owners of the modern and exciting brewery, was overheard telling the public that entered the Broken Goblet taproom that they are here to do something new and cool for Bristol Twp..

Locals gathered both inside and outside 1500 Grundys Lane where they played ladder ball, cornhole, ate off of food trucks, listened to live music by Jeffrey Gaines and socialized with their friends while enjoying six rotating specially-made brews on tap.
“I pray to God we have enough beer,” LaCouture explained amid the hundreds of locals filtering in and out of the 2900 sq. foot property. “I am so happy but I am also terrified, I never expected any of this in a million years.”
The damage down by locals at the grand opening? nine half kegs and 65 sixtels, gone in just 10 hours. Combined, that’s over 5,000 12-ounce glasses of beer.

While the brewery has not received official license to distribute their popular brews to outside establishments yet, the taproom itself is open Wednesday 6-9 p.m., Friday 4-10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12-5 p.m. for the enjoyment of all.
