A new craft brewery is coming to Bucks County – Bristol Township to be exact.

The Broken Goblet Brewery plans to open their 2,900-square-foot facility – including a pub/taproom and brew house – next Saturday. The public event will take place starting around noon at 1500 Grundys Lane in Bristol.

The opening festivities will feature food trucks, live entertainment, special one-off beer tappings and evening entertainment will be provided by singer/songwriter Jeffrey Gaines.
Broken Goblet’s regular hours will be Wednesday and Friday evenings along with weekends.
The brewery will serve light fare and will have six taps that include brews such as Impact! IPA, Yin Yang Oatmeal Stout, and Steinbeiser’s Buried Treasure – a cream ale – as well as nuanced brews including two tea-infused beers and a high-gravity Saison, according to the owners.

“Staying true to one of their three founding tenets, Broken Goblet is striving to be low a impact and an asset to the local community,” the business said in a press release. “To that end, the all beers are Vegan compliant, and much of the food served will be derived from a local farm who uses the brewery’s spent grain as feed for the animals that ultimately provide the meat.”
The taproom features a sound stage with professional sound and video systems to accommodate both bands as well as movies, sporting events and gaming tournaments.

Broken Goblet was started by Morrisville Borough residents Mike LaCouture and Jay Grosse as the Brewtal Beer Club. The duo to test their brews and grow support for their product. Within months, the club had grown to 30 members and hosted large events. The other two co-owners are Andrew Grosse and resident “mad scientist” Joe Fazekas.
Broken Goblet will join Croydon-based Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company in Bristol Township. Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company launched in 2011 has grown since opening.
