A Croydon man with multiple warnings from authorities to leave his ex-girlfriend alone, took it to the “next level” last week, as he was arrested by the Bristol Township Police Department for continuing the pattern of terrorizing his ex-girlfriend, according to court records.
According to court documents, David Lochead, 55, of Croydon, who has had multiple run-ins with police over the last year or so, insisted on continuing to contact his victim, bringing police to his home on July 5.

Lochead, was evicted from his residence on the 900 block of State Road, where he lived with his significant other, earlier in the year by District Court Judge Frank W. Perenteau Sr., according to online court documents.
Officer Mary McDougal Reiff entered the residence and listened in on a conversation taking place on speakerphone between Lochead, and another male, court records show.
Lochead demanded to speak with the victim, who refused to speak to the “out of control” man, because she was terrified, according to Reiff.

Lochead was told by the male friend of the victim to stop calling the residence, Reiff wrote in court paperwork. Unrelenting Lochead again demanded to speak to the woman or he was going to “take it to the next level.” When asked what he meant, the suspect replied “by gunpoint.”
Reiff then identified herself, according to court documents, several times and advised Lochead to cease and desist attempts to communicate or see the victim.

Lochead cursed and became belligerent with Reiff, asking the officer if the victim had a restraining order against him. According to the probable cause, Lochead did not stop terrorizing the victim until he saw that paperwork. Reiff asked Lochead for his address, which he refused to provide, court records show.
The conversation ended and minutes later, Lochead was calling again looking to speak with the victim, court records show. Reiff noted in court paperwork, Lochead had called the victims number approximately 50 times since the middle of March 2014.
Lochead was charged with stalking, terroristic threats, harassment, and a related offense and sent to Bucks County Jail on 10 percent of $150,000 with a scheduled appearance in court on July 30 with Judge Peranteau.

According to online court documents, Lochead has been arrested a number of times, most recently in April for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
