According to police accounts from December, McCafferty walked into the Langhorne Borough Hall on Maple Avenue and struck up a conversation with the borough secretary. At some point, McCafferty allegedly became unnerved and went on an obscenity filled rant which ended with threats to kill two borough officers, court papers said.

McCafferty also wrapped her head in a scarf and said she was a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” She then threatened to kill the secretary, according to police.

The secretary locked the office door and security glass in a “panic” before McCafferty left the building, court documents say.
