Bucks County Women’s Initiative, an affinity group of the United Way of Bucks County, needs help with their fundraising event on March 13, 2014 at the Northampton Valley Country Club. The event, called “Shaping Futures: Mind, Body and Spirit” will raise money for their 2014 initiatives which support healthy development of Bucks County’s girls.

BCWI is looking for sponsors to make the event possible, as well as donations for their silent and live auctions and volunteers to help the night come together. There are three sponsorship levels: Gold (three available at a $4,000 donation), Silver (four available at a $2,500 donation) and Bronze (10 available at a $1000 donation.) All sponsors will get their logo on the BCWI reusable canvas bag provided to all event attendees, as well as various opportunities to get their name out in the community as a company who cares. They also have the option to buy tickets to the event at a discounted price based on the sponsorship level.
“Women make up 80% of consumer buying decisions, which means that they generate a lot of revenue for the businesses they support. By getting involved with BCWI, the same women that have so much purchasing power will recognize you as a company that cares about the same things they do. Additionally, out of every dollar granted by US foundations, only 8 cents go to support women and girls specifically, so supporting girls and women through BCWI is a unique opportunity.” explains Heidi Phillips, community & corporate development officer at UWBucks.
Donations are also needed for the silent and live auctions. All donors will be recognized at the event, in the auction guide and online. BCWI recommends donations of:
