Falls Township police confirm the Kathryn Hanczaryk, 33, no fixed address, and Mark Girvin, 28, of the 1600 block of Old Bristol Pike, are believed to be connected to the attack at the Giant Food Store and others.

About 30 minutes before the attack and robbery at the PNC Bank in Bristol Borough, a woman walking home from the Rite Aide on New Falls Road in Falls was punched in the head. The 68-year-old victim fought back at the suspect as she tried to take her purse. During the struggle, the suspect threw the victim’s head into the concrete and the victim gave up the purse, police said. The suspect fled in a car.
Bristol Township had a similar incident to the Falls cases a short time later, police said.
In all the cases, police said the suspect descriptions matched.

After the PNC Bank robbery and assault detectives from Falls, Bristol and Bristol Township began closing in on the suspects. A Bucks County sheriff’s deputy spotted the Honda van near Franklin D. Roosevelt Middle School and arrests were made.

Kathryn Hanczaryk, 33, no fixed address and Mark Girvin, 28, of the 1600 block of Old Bristol Pike, were arraigned Thursday night by District Court Judge Joseph Falcone for the strong arm robbery of a woman outside of PNC Bank in Bristol Borough’s Commerce Park shopping center earlier in the day.
The duo, according to sources close to the investigation, are most likely connected to a similar assault and robbery that occurred at the Fairless Hills Giant Wednesday night.
Police say Hanczaryk got out of a 2004 Honda Odyssey driven by Girvin and attacked the woman with blows to her head and shoulder, court documents say

Hanczaryk then slammed the woman to the pavement while the victim begged the suspect to let go of her handbag but was forced to let go as she was overpowered by the woman, according to court documents.
Girvin, driving the Honda was circling int the neighboring parking close to Wal-Mart then scooped up Hanczaryk after she stole the clutch in their failed attempt at a get away, police wrote in court papers.

The Honda drove off heading towards Franklin D. Roosevelt Middle School close to Route 413 in Bristol Township a source told LevittownNow.com on Thursday, where Bucks County Sheriff’s Deputies Justin Stuckey and Dale Walton, saw the vehicle, shadowed it and apprehended the suspects shortly thereafter apprehended the suspects, court papers say.
The injured woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.

Falcone set their bail at 10 percent in lieu of $250,000 each on robbery, aggravated assault, conspiracy and related offenses.
Both were taken to Bucks County prison and face a preliminary hearing before District Judge Frank Peranteau Sr.on Wednesday.
