A woman suffered minor injuries in a strong-arm robbery Wednesday night in Falls Township.
The woman was loading groceries into her car outside the Giant Food Store in Fairless Hills when a female suspect walked up to her and punched her in the face around 7:14 p.m. After the attack, the suspect removed the woman’s purse from her shopping cart and ran to a waiting vehicle, police said. The suspect reportedly got in the passenger side of the waiting vehicle, which fled onto South Oxford Valley Road.

The suspect is described by police as a white female, 30-40 years of age, medium to heavy build, approximately 5-foot-6 Shoulder length brown hair and was wearing multi-colored shirt.
The vehicle used to flee is believed to be a newer-model green Ford Explorer Sport Trac, police said.
Authorities said the victim was treated at the scene for her injuries.
