Pennsbury graduate Matthew Schuler, who was a finalist on “The Voice,” will be making his official homecoming Saturday afternoon at the Yardley Olde Fashion Christmas Parade.
The 21-year-old has been named the Grand Marshall for the parade, which travels down Main Street in Yardley Borough. The parade kicks off Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
Schuler was eliminated from the singing contest last week after making it to the Top 6. Throughout the season, the show’s judges and fans have praised Schuler’s performances and many considered him a front runner. The West Chester University student and Lower Makefield native’s performance of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” is still among the top songs sold on iTunes and his cover of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” is still racking up hits on YouTube.
