Borough Cops Bust Coke Dealers Using Informant

Bristol Borough policeย on a narcotics Thursday night detail arrested two men in a drug deal that landed both men behind bars.

According to police, Keith Johnson, 47, of Philadelphia, and Aaron Turner, 51, of Bristol, showed up at to meet a confidential informant on the 1100 block of Beaver Street in black Chrysler around 10:30 p.m., court records say.

Both defendants left the vehicle to meet with the police source and sold him $1,300worth of cocaine which was packaged in two separate small bags. The money used for the narcotics deal was marked and provided by the Bucks County Narcotics Fund, the affidavit of probable cause says.

After the dealers were arrested, officials performed a body search in which they found on Turner, baggies filled with marijuana, crack cocaine, assorted pills, and a number of empty baggies usually used for packaging drugs were found. The marked funds used for the drug deal were located ย in the Johnson’s left pocket, court records say.

Both were arraigned before ย Magistrateย Robert L. Wagner Jr. on two charges of ย felony possession with intent to distribute and four misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Both defendants were sent to Bucks County Jail in lieu of 10 percent of $20,000 bail. They are now scheduled for ย a preliminary hearing on August 28.
