The yells of Falls Township plant worker pinned under several hundred pounds of equipment lead to firefighters finding him and likely saving his life Thursday night.
Falls Fire Company Chief Mike McClellan said the worker, a 35-year-old man, became pinned under a large piece of equipment that looked like a pressure cooker after the dolly he was using to transport the top heavy object went over a bump in the floor and fell over.

The worker was trapped in the maintenance bay of the Gelest facility at 11 E. Steele Road. McClellan said the worker luckily had his cell phone and with the help of a 9-1-1 dispatcher, some yells and on-the-ball fire officials was located after about 5 minutes of searching.
Firefighters freed the man just after 7:30 p.m., and he was transported by the Morrisville Ambulance Squad to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township.
McClellan said the 35-year-old man had wrist and leg injuries.

The Falls Township, Levittown No. 1, Morrisville and Tullytown fire companies responded to the call.
