As of Friday morning, no arrests had been made and authorities from the borough and Bucks County District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate the case.

Law enforcement sources at the county and local level tell LevittownNow.com that an arrest is likely in the case.

The same sources also confirmed rumors that the infant was only a few days old.

Investigators spoke with the residents of the home at the Tullytown Borough Municipal Complex on Main Street on Thursday. Neighbors said the residents of the home, a multi-generational family, were escorted by police.

Investigators from Tullytown and the Bucks County Detectives worked throughout the day to investigate the death, Chief of County Detectives Christopher McAteer told LevittownNow.com at the scene. Law enforcement were spotted taking several brown bags of presumed evidence out of the home.

A member of the county coroner’s office removed the body of the newborn just before 8 p.m. on Thursday.

One neighbor, who claimed to know some of the residents, said she was not aware of any newborns living in the home.

The one-story house is neatly maintained and has a fenced back yard.
