Tullytown police confirm that the death of a male newborn is being investigated.
Officers were called to the home at 275 Lakeside Drive at 11:01 for an unannounced reason,ย Acting Tullytown Police Chief Daniel Doyle said. A press release distributed to the media by Tullytown and county officials said the home was secured and a search warrant obtained.

Police said they spoke with the residents of the home at the Tullytown Borough Municipal Complex on Main Street.
Investigators from Tullytown and the Bucks County Detectives worked throughout the day to investigate the death, Chief of County Detectives Christopher McAteer told LevittownNow.com at the scene.

A member of the county coroner’s office was seen removing the body of the newborn. Police said they expect autopsy results in the coming days.
As of late Thursday night, no arrests have been made.
Neighbors of the quiet street said a multi-generationial family lives in the house. One neighbor, who claimed to know some of the residents, said she was not aware of any newborns living in the home.

Tullytown Police were called to the site of a yellow house located at the 200 block of Lakeside Drive Thursday and along with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office are conducting a death investigation, officials said.

While the investigation’s purpose was initially unclear, the borough has confirmed that they are investigating a death inside the home.

The corner was seen leaving the house shortly before 8 p.m.
Sources say the investigation has been in progress all day and involves a child.
Neighbors said that a multi-generational family occupies the house.
