Dipolito wouldn’t say why there is police involvement at this time, however, ย a number of neighborhood sources are pointing to the “ugly” divorce proceedings between the couple that formerly lived in the home Jessica Degarmo-Coons and Jim Coons.

The fire marshal did confirm, however, ย reports the family pet, a pit bull dog died in the fire.

A source on the scene said Coons buried the dog in the house.

Two independent neighborhood sources said they saw the former couple, individually at the Junewood section home yesterday, not to long before the fire erupted.
